Park Rangers are searching for two men seen on video destroying ancient rock formations in Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Nevada.
Officials said the incident happened on April 7 along the popular Redstone Dune Trail.
The video shows the two men climbing a rock formation and knocking large pieces of red stone onto the ground below.
"That's so beautiful. It's one of my favorite places in the park, and they're up there just destroying it. I don't understand that," John Haynes, Public Information Officer Lake Mead National Recreation Area, told KVVU.
To make matters worse, the men appeared to be committing the crime in front of a child. In the video, a young girl is heard yelling, "Daddy, don't fall!" as they push the rocks over the ledge.
"It pretty appalling, it is kind of disgusting," Haynes said.
If the two men are identified, they could face federal charges, which carry a sentence of six months in jail and a $5,000 fine.
"Information from visitors is often very helpful to investigators.
