Clear Channel Radio Sacramento, with six Sacramento area radio stations, has an an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to get their foot into a dynamic sales organization. This full-time position will assist and provide strong office administrative and sales support to our Marketing Solution Specialist Sales team and reports to the General Sales Manager. The appropriate candidate for this position should have a high level of energy, be a team-player and be comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
The Account Coordinator's primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Support sales staff with sales administration by performing a variety of clerical and administrative activities.
- Send daily spot times to clients per their request.
- Assist in preparation of sales proposals, presentations and update media kits.
- Research industry and market information to use in proposals.
- Assist in production and distribution of sales reports, orders, and revisions.
- Input orders via Radio Fusion and complete Continuity Order Forms, and maintain customer database, as requested.
- Type and create spreadsheets, copy, letters and other documents as requested.
- Transcribe commercial copy from CDs and MP3s.
- Print order confirmations and spot times as requested.
- Attend department and station sales meetings.
- Provide front desk coverage during assigned lunch hours and morning/afternoon breaks.
- Additional projects and duties as assigned by the General Sales Manager or Director of Sales.
Job Requirements:
- High school graduate, 2 or 4 year college graduate preferred.
- 3-5 years previous job experience with customer service or sales support experience.
- Strong computer skills and proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Requires excellent written and verbal communications skills, proficiency composing presentations with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent telephone skills, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work accurately and well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, and efficient.
